Menu drop downs are THERE but they disappear before I can select anything?

Thanks for looking at this post.

My menu pull downs/drop downs disappear before I can select anything. For instance. If i want to change an object's layer I can't get to the layers lower on the list before the drop down disappears. The same for changing hatch patterns. There may be other as well.

I can change the items if I use the Object propoerties panel though.

Any ideas?

What version of what application?

Are these toolbar dropdowns or dropdowns in the Ribbon?

First at all: does that happen all the time or did it just appear? And ... have you tried to restart your workstation?

Sounds like you have installed a tool on top of AutoCAD that's handling menus or you might have some troubles with your display driver.

I would start with updating the graphic card driver (look also to the >>>certified hardware list<<<).

If you are working on a dual screen system you might also try to move the AutoCAD application window to the other monitor.

And at least a repair installation of Map 3D might help.
