Match rotation

A few version ago autocad had a function that would allow you to pick one
line and match the same bearing to any other line you selected. My question
is does this function still exist and if so, how can I do it?

IIRC it was an old express tool, that got dropped when Matchproperties was
ported into the core AutoCAD. The closes thing to it is using the properties
palette and quickcal with an expression.

No, this was just a simple express tool where you could just click a line
and every other line you selected would match the same bearing. Align is not
really what I am looking for.

in 2006 at least the Align command is to be found under the Modify menu.

well, that's goofy... it's under Modify > 3D Operation (but the prompt in
the taskbar says 2d and 3d alignments)

right. sorry. that one would give it the same angle, but, would physically
move it and you don't want that.
