Does anyone work with Petra and Map3D? Any books or trainings to recommend for integrating data with multple mapping softwares?
It seems my predecessor often would begin projects in Petra, then export a basemap to dxf and import that in to Map3D to draw better looking contours, etc. I need to understand this process better since I find myself constantly going into these projects to edit/update, and it takes up a ton of my time trying to figure out what has been done. I would prefer to have all the data spacially referenced, and it seems that often times things were done in a hurry and those steps weren't taken. I really need to improve my productivity with Map3D, especially when working with multiple mapping softwares. I want to get good at this! 😉
