This is my first post and am new to Map 3D so go easy on me please.

Is there a way to edit the an attribute data if it is defined as number to add a value of .3 to the number being displayed in this attribute box. The feature is a point and i'm looing to add the .3 value to elevation attribute value that weren't pulled from a surface or created using object data.

Thanks for all the help.

I coukld also use suggestion on help books

One way is:

  1. _MAPEXPORT all to a shapeset
  2. open the .DBF just created in a spreadsheet
  3. add the .3 value, and save the .DBF
  4. finally _MAPIMPORT the shapeset back to Autocad.
