Hello
I have already seen MAP 2010/2011/2012/2013 32 bits connected to ESRI ArcSDE v9.3 32 bits
with the famous 3 DLLs (sde, sg, pe) added into bin/fdo (or fdo/bin) using ArcSDE FDO driver ...
I hope it is working ALSO with MAP 2014 32 bits !?
But how is it possible to connect a MAP 2010/2011/2012/2013/2014 version 64 bits
to the same ESRI ArcSDE v9.3 SP1 32 bits ?
I haven't the 3 DLLs in 64 bits versions
If the customer switch to ArcSDE 64 bits, which DLLs (into bin/fdo or fdo/bin),
I need to connect with the 64 bits ArcSDE FDO driver ?
Where can I find these DLLs ??
And which minimum version of ArcSDE 64 bits, I need ???
After searching ... In the MAP 2013 ReadMe, I can find this :
--- FDO ArcGIS Provider ---
The ArcGIS Provider is limited to 32 bit only. There is no 64 bit support for ESRI’s ArcGIS databases.
So I am very afraid : it seems to be impossible !
======> And with MAP 2014 64 bits, is it the same limitation ???

Hello
When looking at this Info :
http://docs.autodesk.com/MAP/2014/ENU/system_requirements/map3d-sys-reqs.htm#OSWin64
It seems that the FDO Esri ArcSDE driver 64 bits (of MAP 2014 64 bits)
is able to connect with a 32/64 bits ESRI ArcSDE v9.3/v10 !?
If somebody has the Info, please let me know ...
If somebody knows the exact names of the DLLs, we need in 64 bits version , let me know ...
Thks, Bye, Pat

The filenames are the same, but they are for the 64-bit ArcSDE. You'll have to get them from ESRI. I downloaded the 64-bit service pack for ArcSDE and it includes the 3 files that need to be placed into the FDO folder.
Hello
Thks for the Info, I will give you feedback asap ...
