Map 2000i slow opening dwg files from file server.

We have approximately 60 different maps on our file server and all of a sudden we have about 4 maps that take approximately 10 minutes to open. All of the other maps
of similar size open in about 10 to 15 seconds. If we copy the problem maps from the server to our local drives the problem goes away. Any helpful suggestions that I could pass along to I.T. would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having similar problems with a 28 mb file myself. However, I have the file on my local system. And when I attempt to open the file, it opens up to 77% (every friggin' time!) and locks up my CPU (at 100% usage).

I end up having to use the task manager to end process.

Any tips?
