Layers not rendering when zoomed in.

I've got a Civil 3D Project with about 5 or 6 map layers in it (I used the map tools to connect to a shapefile). Everything runs great, it updates, etc., except when I zoom in. Past a certain point two layers start to flicker. Parts will render at certain zoom levels and parts won't. What can I do to fix it?

N.B.: I've tried regenerating, refreshing, and re-opening the drawing.

Okay so apparently it was an issue with the shapefile, not AutoCAD. I don't know why but when I got another shapefile with the same data everything worked perfectly. Go figure.

Yes I've experienced this too using AutoCAD Map 2010. The unfortunate thing is if a person does not have access to new shapefiles, then your out of luck. I've had to use the competing ERSI product to re-export the shapefiles to fix this issue. But what I experience is after edits and such the problem can re-occur.

Hopefully version 2011 handles this issue better.
