I am trying to insert a dwg on top of another one but it's not putting it in the right place. They both have the same coordinate system, both unitless, and both tie to each other. If I open both in Global Mapper, they both lay on top of each other but that is not the case in autocad.
I also tried to reference the dwgs and that did not help either. Anybody knows how can I insert both dwgs and have them lay on top of each other?
Thanks

Hello
Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD Forums !
A few quick ideas :
Please open each DWG and check :
- UNITS / UI - I imagine they have to be the same !? (Meters or Feet or No Units)
- BASE - Must be Zero,Zero
If necessary correct then ReSave and ReTest ...

i have this issue also with autocad map, after the last version update. The units are the same along with base. just certain shapes/dxfs are not able to come into the correct location
