HOW TO BRING TEXT IN MY AUCAD MAP 3D 2010

I have drawn a map in autocad and have included in it with names of villages.I brought the map in autocad map as sdf file....I want to see those names through data connect in my autocad map.....can someone help me step by step please.

check out what happens when you bring in the .sdf.  from the display manager, right click on the "theme" of the points & select "Style"  from the lower portion of the resulting dialog box, right side, you can add labels to the points/lines/polygons.  I'm not in front of a workstation to do screen captures & more at the moment, so hope this helps point you in the right direction.

also, since you're new to the software, I'd suggest you run through the tutorials and/or purchase a copy of "Map3D a practical guide" by Alex Penney.
