Feature Class Available Properties Missing

Has anyone encountered not having properties available when defining a feature class for a polyline (Yes I am logged in as SUPERUSER)? Everything goes well in feature class definition except for when I select AcDbPolyline in the "Applies To" tab, I do not have any available properties in the "Properties List" tab. The SHOW LIST dialog box is also empty. Any help would be great. Thanks>>

I have the exact same problem and it applies to all polylines
