Exporting geospatial features to DWG - RGB Color

When export color stylized geospatial features (SDF) to a DWG, resulting exported DWG object color code is RGB codes.

Is there any the exported object could be in AutoCAD color code?

Hi Herman,

I haven't tested it out, but I believe you should be able to accomplish this by settting up a conversion template.  However I am not sure this would work if your SDF layer is styled with themes.

Another way you could accomplish this, that I did test out, is after completing the export to DWG, save the drawing back to a save-format that does not know true color.  For example, save the drawing as a DXF2000, close the drawing, reopen it and save it back to DWG.  Alternatively you could use the _WBLOCK command and select the destination file type as DXF2000.

Thanks,

Yes, I've tried the template.

By define the layer in DWG with right layer name and color.  The exported layer name has prefix _1 attached to the end of the layer name with the same problems as before.

Hi,

have you tried the option saving or wblocking in DXF2000 format?
