export polygon topology (with islands) to ESRI products

Is it possible to export polygon topology that contains islands to ArcInfo or ArcView correctly. I have tried several ways to export, but the polygon that surrounds the island always includes the area of the island as well.

I think that's one of the things that Mpolygon in
map 6 fixed, but haven't used it to export yet.

www.guthcad.com has a demo called CAD2SHP that correctly converts polylines
to shapes - holes and all.
