Exploding an XRef

Hey all. Here's the rub: it seems that in in autocad 2004 it is no longer possible to explode and XRef to add the objects to a drawing permanently. Now, if I try to explode an XRef, it says: 1 found, 1 was an external reference. It then defaults back to a blank command line and does not explode the XRef. We are currently using ncopy from express tools to skirt this issue, but it will only allow you to do one object at a time. Any ideas? Ryan

Why don't you just insert the file you were xrefing and explode it on insert? Baically you are treating the xref as a block. -- Charles C. Hi Ryan, You can just use the XREF Bind option and convert the Xref into a regular block in AutoCAD. Then user the explode command and you will be able to use the objects in their native state.
