ESRI Geodatabase

Is anyone working on a way to import ESRI Geodatabase files?

Thank you Jim

Safe Software's FME product can read and write
these files. You can convert to any of their supported formats, although you
must have the ESRI software installed on the same PC.

Some of FME's capabilities have been included as a part of ArcGIS 9.0, so look into that version.

I'm actually using GISConnect.

This is for dumonier1. You indicated in your reply that you have been using GISConnect. What I would like to do is import both spatial and attribute data and do a coordinate conversion - just like what we can do with ESRI coverages. We import and use AutoCAD to do create the map and it never gets exported back. With a geodatabase the size of the state of Oregon, can you briefly explain how this works, or if I can do what I want with GISConnect? Although I've read Haestadt's literature, I'm still unsure. If you would rather email direct, my address is jremiro@or.blm.gov. Thanks in advance!
