ePlot, Background Color

What am I missing? I would like to create a .dwf with a black background, I
went to plot settings, and selected "DWF Classic.pc3" and made sure the
custom settings were set to black for background color. I've even tried
selecting the "monochrome" pen assignments. When look at the preview or use
the ePlot wizard the background is still white. I've looked in all the help
files and on the newsgroups and can't find the answer. I have no doubt its
a simple thing, but I'm stuck. Please help.

Thank you in advance.
Bart

Hi,

I am not sure what you mean by Background in a DWF file. This kind of file
is a VECTOR file (Not an image).

If you want background, why dont you add a background to your drawing?
Hatch, Solid ...?

dont know if this applies but is the background of your layout space set to
black?
Tools>Options>Display>Window Elements>Color (button)>layout tab..change
background to black. I know this affects printing to jpg but I don't have a
need for .dwf so I don't know if this setting affects them.
