with the express tools there is an "Overkill"
command or in map the map clean-up commands. Look at the help files on the
clean-up command if you don't use it right it can really mess up a
project.

I have map 6, and i don't think i have express tools. Where would i find them if i had them. Also will the map cleanup delete duplicate points and text?

If you have the express tools they should be in a
folder in the AutoCAD dir. Yes the drawing clean-up will remove the
dupilcate text/points as long as that option is checked.

Hi Paul, You can also use the express
tools that were available in the earlier versions of AutoCAD with Map 6,
provided you have a copy of the older version of AutoCAD installed somewhere.

routines for deleting duplicate text,
points and blocks and advice on how to
modify the routine if you wish to do so.
