I have asked this before but I do not think I explained it very well, so I
am going to try again.
This is a question involving drawing units
I had a base map that was originally compiled in Mass State Plane Feet Nad
27 and while drawing on this map for example if I drew a circle with a
radius of 1 it drew a circle with a radius of one foot. In order to use this
map with my other GIS data I needed to assign a new coordinate system, Mass
state Plane Meter Nad 83 and I queried the drawing in and it worked great.
Here is the problem, when I now use this map and I need a circle with a
radius of 1 I get one meter. I understand that AutoCad draws in units and
not in feet or meters but I can't scale the drawing because it now matches
my other GIS data. To get a circle now with a radius of one foot I need to
do the math, 1 divided by 3.28083 and enter .3048009 as the radius. Is there
any way around this. Any help would be appreciated.
