Display area of SQL spacial geometry

Hi Everyone

I'm posting this on behalf of one of my GIS colleagues who is trying to interface with some work that needs to be done by other.  He is using the Map functionality within Civils 3D 2014 with some SQL Spatial Geometry which loads up perfectly into the system.

Is there a way to show the “new” and “live” area of a polygon when I am using the STRETCH command (i.e. modifying each individual vertex?). If you see the screenshot below, we are looking for a way to show the live area of the polygon when we are changing the proposed location of each vertex.

Thanks

Hi,

create a calculated field that shows the area of the polygon in your table. So everytime you adjusted a vertex you'll get the current area value.

Look to >>>that video<<< that shows how/what to do.
