Digitising problem

After inserting a Raster Image of City Map, I wished to create a Outer Boundary for the city.So
I created using pline tool and completed the boundary. After joining to the start point and if I
check for boundary command for the boundary created it displays error message called
"Valid Boundary Hatch not Found". I need to know how to avoid these Hatch error for big polygons
like Boundary. Is there any remedial measures to avoid Hatch error?

Thanx in Advance,
RK

Is the polyline closed?

Just because the start and end points are
coincident, the pline may not be closed.

In AutoCAD, a pline has a flag to close
it.

Use pedit, select the pline and use the close
option. Then try to hatch it.
