Any suggestions on how to do the following::
Export or saveout 24x36 plan sets from IDS Pro- 2015 Autodesk Map 3D, on a Domain server, to be used as geo spatial maps, to be utilized on an iPad Pro 2 out in the field, offline.
We can also utilize Adobe CS6, Acrobat Pro XI and ESRI Arc Map 10.2 in this process,
Or scan the 24x36 plan sets into .tiff, .pdf or .jpeg.
We’ve looked into 3rd party apps such as Maprika and Terrago but prefer not to use 3rd party..
Thanks so much..
Hello,
I understand that you would like to be able to access 24x36 plan sets created in AutoCAD Map 3D 2015 as geospatial maps on an iPad Pro 2 in the field and offline.
You can export plan sets to PDF in Map 3D, but there is currently no way to create georeferenced PDFs within Map 3D. You could also export out to a raster file. However you would then need to georeference the raster files using Raster Design (which comes with IDS Pro).
If the ability to export out georeferenced PDFs and raster files is functionality you would like to see in future versions of Map 3D, I encourage you to submit this feedback to the Product Manager via the following link (be sure to select AutoCAD Map 3D from the product drop down menu):
