Creating a buffer in Autocad Map 2000, using VBA

Hello ,

I would like to know if it's possible to create a buffer in AutocadMap using
VBA.
I have a vba macro, and i want to create a bufffer in order to query some
objects, and i do not know if the Map gives that possibility using vba. If
not, there is another way?

And the new version of Autodesk Map has this capability?
