Corrupted lock records-cannot remove locks

Referring to the message of sept 6 2001. I cannot remove corrupted lock
records after a save back error. I am logged on as superuser and the
attached file is selected but the part of the dialog box with the remove
locks button is not activated when I click user list and nothing is in
the window box. I get an error code 14. Any Ideas?

With a little perseverance I managed to find the soluton to the problem via
the dot soft home page. It seems that the routine called adestrip.lsp will
remove the ade entity locks and the corrupted lock records that may be
related to this problem. When you apply the routine to an attached drawing
querying all layers in the draw mode in a drawing session as superuser and
then wblock the result, and when you attach the result back into a drawing
session and check the users in drawing maintenance the message "corrupted
lock record" is no longer there. For those who just want to get rid of the
unwanted regapps in a session, I think this is the way to do it.

After a bit more research, I found the easiest way is to open the corrupted drawing and type adestrip at the command prompt then save the drawing. When you attach the drawing to a session and check users, the corrupted drawing lock message will no longer appear. From this point on modifications and save backs can be made no problem.
