Copy Object Data

I have object data attached to some linework and I want to copy that data to
some new entities.

Is it possible to copy object data from one entity to another with out
having to fill in the table again

just wonderin'

Thanks

In the sample folder under your Autodesk Map install location you will find
a file called copy_od.lsp...

Load this puppy and then run the copy_od command...

Cheers,
Will

this thread needs a bump...oh..laa  AUTODESK!  'copy_od' lsp works great....if you know that it exist's and where it is, and that you have to load it.  And then you can use it to save valuable cad time. 😉

I just can't understand why Autodesk's map development is hiding these useful tools from users, and why aren't they exposing them in the ribbon yet?  This lsp routine has been around for -evah.  I'm on Map 2012 and still don't see it in the UI, whats up?

Thanks

I concur definetely in it, sir.
Another noteworthy "pearl" is LISTPTS.LSP of Sample folder too, even if I found there a bug.
If pline coordinates has 7 digits or more, the result is not explicit, look at that:

Hello, I have civil3d 2020 and cannot find copy_od.lsp

Does it exist in civil3d?

Thanks so much. This is a huge time saver and a great way to reduce errors!

Why isn't this a preloaded function in Civil3d?

Come on Autodesk, let's get moving!

Hello, as for OD functionality, Alexander seemed to have mentioned in this forum that Autocad Map hasn’t changed completely in decades. I think there are bitter agreements between autocad and additional application developers that specifically offer such additional functionality as OD 🙂

Hello @Anonymous  @Barzdil  @Rick.LabelleXRGFF  @parkr4st  @antoniovinci

1) Please look at this very important Topic :

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-map-3d-forum/additions-for-object-data/td-p/7548282

Where you will find many Routines about ODs (Object Data) of ACAD MAP & ACAD CIVIL ...

2) Without these routines using ODs is a nightmare !

3) I have about a dozen of Lisp/VLisp routines preloaded on my ACAD MAP about ODs !

... and - Applications for Object Data - Autodesk Community - AutoCAD Map 3D

or the Additionally section on my dedicated odclass-odedit website, where most of the existing lsp and arx for OD are collected.
