Cleaning up drawings

Hi! all

Some clarifications regarding cleaning up options -

While using snap cluster nodes or extend undershoots, if the tolerance
specified is very high (twice or thrice) than the distance to be snaped,
the operation is not carried out. Why?

Secondly, while cleaning pseudonodes, what does the tolerance indicate.
Because if no tolerance is given, the operation is not executed.

Thanx i advance
Monika

Hi Monika,

What version of Map are you using? Do you have service packs installed? I
know that this was an issue for Map 2000 that was resolved with a service
pack.

Monika,

that the snap doesn't work with very big tolerance values could be a defect
and is under investigation. It seems that the algorithm works only for gaps
that are less than half the length of the line that has to be extended.
To workaround I recommend to start doing the cleanup with small tolerance
values first, then increase the values if necessary.
