Changing a lot of layers in display manager

Hi all.

I have around 400 layers in Map, from different sources (Oracle, WMS, WFS...). Usually they are based on some filters.

This is ok, but when something changes on my data source, I have to click all those layers, then edit query, save, and so for every layer.

Is there any possibility to export Display Manager layers configuration to some .xml file or something? This way it would be much easier to edit multiple properties (with find/replace). Of course, there should be possibility to import this configuration back.

You can save each layer to a .layer file which is a xml format. Right click
on a layer in the Display Manager and select save layer. Once you have a
.layer filer you can drag/drop from windows explorer to bring it into a new
dwg. I don't think there is a way to do export all of them to one single
file.

Out of curiosity, how often does Map Crash when you have that much open? are they large datastores?

I have maybe an 1/8th of that and I feel I get way to many Fatal Errors.
