CAn Autodesk Map 3d 2015 export to a kml or kmz file?

How can I export to a Google Earth file using Autodesk Map 3d 2015?

There is no export to KML/KMZ format right out of the box. You can export to ESRI SHP format then use many of the paid and/or free apps to export to KMZ. Do a google search and you should find a few apps.

Yes. In "Toolspace", go to the "Toolbox" tab, expand "Miscellaneous Utilities", expand "Export KML", right-click "Export KML" and click "Execute..." I understand that this thread is almost a year old, so this is mainly for the folks that are Google-ing this question.

You must have Civil 3d 2015. Map does not have toolspace.

Hi,

if you are under subscription, you can install MAP 3D 2012 + GoogleEarth Plugin which add a nice wizard to export AutoCAD Objects (2D and 3D) to KML or KMZ

This works from Civil 3D but not from Map 3d:

In "Toolspace", go to the "Toolbox" tab, expand "Miscellaneous Utilities", expand "Export KML", right-click "Export KML" and click "Execute..." .

You can try our advanced Export KML plugin from Autodesk apps store.
