calculating bisecting contour lines

Needing areas inside contour/isopach lines bisected into individual sections. Please see attached drawing in Autocad Map 3D 2005.

If I understand you correctly the BPoly command will create a closed polyline in these areas. You can get the area by listing the polylines or using The Area command and selecting the Object option. What you wanted was to create a polygon topology, and query the areas of the resulting polygons. I took the liberty of doing this, and have attached the file below. The point objects are the topology centroids, query those for the area of the polygon it belongs to.

Reply Syntax?
Command (Uppercase): TRIM, Variable (Italicized): MSLTSCALE, Civil 3D Object (Within brackets): [SITE]
