AutoCAD Raster Design 2010 Object Enabler

When down load and try to run AutoCAD Raster Design 2010 Object Enabler I get the following message:

Setup was unable to detect any target applications for AutoCAD Raster Design 2010 Object Enabler.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I have found that when I installed Raster design it created a separate folder in C:\program files called; Raster Design 2010 OE. To get Raster Design to run I just moved the files from the Raster Design 2010 OE folder into the AutoCAD Raster Design 2010 folder. Then Raster ran fine. Try that, hope it works.

What versions of Map3D are you using or have installed?

Installed are Map3D 2009 and 2010. I kept 2009 just so I can make sure 2010 works before I get rid of it.

Is the 2010 version installed in the default paths?
C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Map3D 2010

I would try the d/l again with admin rights and any anti virus software off.

2010 is installed in its default. I get the same message whether I try to run from the d/l page or if I save it to a file then I try to run.

The one from this page
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=13023431&linkID=9240858
and the correct version 32 bit or 64 bit.

That is the page I got it from, and it was the 32 bit. (raster_design_2010_oe_32_eng.exe)

What program do you have that needs the object enabler? Map 2010 doesn't or
does it?

Map3D does for SID and ECW files when using the mapiinsert command, with FDO
you don't need it.

If you use the mapiinsert (note the two i's) does it show those two image
formats in the list? The OE may already be installed.

Might try a repair install of map3D from the windows control panel then,
something didn't get added to the registry right or something.
