You can simplify the expression there, with the following syntax:

 

(operator :fieldname@shapename factor)

 

In your case, it would sound like this: (* :aged1year@001 100)

I think I tried that and with the "Inters String, Real' in recent versions mess up it didn't work or something.  ???
