VBA is simpler and may or may not be sufficient. ObjectARX is more complex but is also more powerful. If using 2005 (very limited) or later (2006 is much more complete) there is a .NET API that can be used with your choice of .NET language. The .NET API is somewhere between VBA(ActiveX API) and ObectARX in complexity and power.
Can you tell me where I can get sample of using .NET (specifically VB.NET) and ObjectARX? or do you have sample of it... coz i'm having a hard time doing an application the requires me to use ObjectARX in Map3D using VB.NET
