how to create linetype with double lines

I want to know how to create linetype with double lines one rectangle empty and other with solid in autocad(i am using autocad 2004)I tried by express tools with command mkshape (and then makelinetype command)  but it is coming without solid, is it possible in autocad by using Autolisp, if yes how, can anyone help me, see attached dwg, name is linetype_ds

Hi,

you can use command _MLINE to create double or multiple lines-representations having different linetypes and colors.

so you can create a MLINESTYLE that has

• offset: -1 .... linetype: continuous
• offset:   0 .... special linetype having symbols
• offset: +1 .... linetype: continuous

The special linetype has to be setup using symbols that represents the filled rectangles in the middle of your MLINE-object. That's a little tricky to make them working in corners, but it's a way worth to try.
