We use Annotative dimensions in our drawings. Every time we xref a drawing or cut and paste a drawing, it brings in all the Annotation scales of the other drawing. Purging does not get rid of these scales and sometimes there gets to be a lot of them.
Changing the Annotation scale prior to dimensioning an object can be a LONG and tedious procedure when these get quite numerous.
Is there any way to either stop the annotative scales from being imported, or a way to delete them?
Scalelistedit is the only variable that I can see that you can delete them, but having to reset this all the time is quite annoying.
There is a Scale List Cleanup Utility here for '08 and '09 versions:

I believe this has been fixed with the '10 and newer versions
You need to get all your files, even block only files.
