Xref Dialogue - Deleting old unreferenced files

I use 2008LT on a VISTA Business 64 platform.
In the xref dialogue box, there is an old "Logo" jpg file, with a path that is from a former project, and which is not available. The "Logo" path refers to an old project file by name, which I don't want to show in the new drawing. How do I get rid of the old "unreferenced" "Logo" and the unknown path.

Delete the JPG object: OLEFRAME or IMAGEFRAME set to 1, then select and
delete.

Dean:
Thanks for that tip. I did as you suggested for both OLEFRAME and IMAGEFRAME. It didn't work. I closed everything down and restarted AutoCAD. I have a customized acadlt.dwt file. The unwanted XREF is there. How do I get rid of it.

Sorry, I missed the Xref reference. XREF command to get rid of it, then
recreate your DWT.

DWT is a DWG with only one letter changed, you can do this in Windows
Explorer.
