Windows XP Network and workstations

Hi all,

We have recently put on a new Windows XP Network and a few workstations are are having some issues with LT 2002. Firstly, certain commands and menus are taking forever to initiate- I am talking minutes here not seconds. To overcome this we have to reboot the PCs and then they are fine again. 10 minutes later the errors reappear and we have to reboot again. Not happy.

The known commands we are having problems with are:
The Propoerties command, the 'make layer current' command, the undo command, switching from model to paperscace and even when we open or try to print files. Just the basics really.

Has anyone had similar issues with LT2002 and Windows XP ?

Andrew

When you changed the server, you must have left some no-longer-valid
shortcuts, links, mapped drive paths, even old PC3 files that need to have
been removed completely. Same with Windows, and old drivers for devices.

Basically, you need to get on each problem machine, and do a full clean-up
and remove all unnecessary and no longer valid items from AutoCAD's, and
Windows's, paths.
