Wheel button = Enter

Is it possible to configure the wheel button on an Intellimouse to emulate the Enter key? I would like to keep right click for shortcut menus.
Thanks, Art

I can do this with the Intellimouse v3.00.0307 software and my Explorer
mouse. Just assign the wheel to be . It will still zoom (LT) or
scroll (other apps) and be when pressed.

Enjoy,
Stef

OK, but don't you use the wheel mouse to pan? The Intellimouse also has
thumb buttons, right? Can you program one of them for Enter in ACAD, yet
still have them function as intended (forward and back buttons in your
internet browser)?

Thanks,
Craig

No, I'm still a keyboarder and also prefer the "classic" pan (-pan). Now
scrolling to zoom I'm beginning to like.

Two thumb buttons, but my thumb is so short I can only reach one without
moving my hand.

No, see this is what I liked about my Contour mouse's software. It would let
you program it's buttons per application if you wanted. Neither Logitech nor
MS will do that.

Enjoy,
Stef

I am using the logitech mouseman I have the thumb button set for and it is very convenient. I can reach it fine.
