Viewing line weights on a PDF

When I print my cabinet elevations showing a tile backsplash, the line weights on the back splash show up darker than what I want.  I've tried to pick the lightest line weight and it still looks "busy" on my drawings (see attached drawing).  Does anyone know where I can change some settings to get the look I'm looking for?

Thanks!!

You could try to assign the back splash some color that you are not using elsewhere.  For example, say we assign the backsplash color 100.   Then in the PLOT STYLE TABLE EDITOR, scroll down to color 100 and change the SCREENING down so it'll appear lighter in the PDF.

Perhaps also choose "scale lineweights" option box when you plot.

Changing the 'screening' totally worked!!!  Thank you sooooo much :o)  Have a wonderful and happy new year!
