Using Dynamic Input !!!!

I was learning how to operate AutoLT 2010 with the 30 day trial. Everything looked good and I decided to purchase the this program. I loaded it a couple days ago and am having a frustrating problem!!!! Need Help !!!
Whenever i turn Dynamic Input on and start the line command and drag the cursor for the second point my cursor is extremelyt sluggish and slow to react to the movements. It's painfully slow. This same thing happens when I draw a circle or even measure. The funny thing is that when I turn Dynamic off everything is normal?
I know it is not my computer because I ran the 30 day trial for 3 weeks with no problems at all. I am running Windows 7?
I have been trying to contact auto desk for a few days with no response?
I don't know what to do.

what changed on your system? Did you try a system restore to a day
everything worked?
Did you uninstall the trial, or just authorize it with your purchased
license?
is 2010 fully patched?

Nothing has changed on my system. I'm using a brand new ASUS laptop. I unistalled the trial version and installed the CD version which I purchased directly from Autodesk. When I try to contact Auto desk they keep directing me to the reseller where I purchased it. I purchased it directly from Auto desk.
The commands are extremely choppy and impossible to draw the simplest line command.
When I talked to the techs that purchased the laptop from they tell me that it is the program beacuse the trial version worked perfect.
I am panicking because this program was expensive and now useless to me!!!!

Me again. I cannot restore to a day because I only installed it two days ago. And immediately after installing it I had this problem.

You have a bad install.
Google REVO UNINSTALLER http://www.google.com/search?q=revo+uninstaller&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a and use its most aggressive setting on the Autodesk products installed on your system.
Then follow this advice from Autodesk to look for other possible entries: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=2887771&linkID=9240817
Reinstall the program and should work fine.

1. The trial version can be authorized to be used with a purchased license:
true for most real trial versions of software for some time. Uninstall was
unnecessary and may be the cause of your problems. Follow Charles' tip.

2. Restore back to the trial is what I meant, you know "when everything
worked", not your faulty reinstall.

Whom did you call for support at Autodesk? Did you try the up&ready crew:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=9415420&linkID=9240617
Or the per-incident Safety Net folks:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=7031104&linkID=9240617

Post back if you are still stuck.

I have done the following:
• Tried to contact Autodesk: No answer.
• downloaded Revo (suggested above) and unistalled all traces of autocad.
• Reinstalled my 2010 Autocad LT CD
• Still can't get it to work, cursor still extremely sluggish
• Just for curiosity I reloaded the 30 day trial, GUESS WHAT Worked perfectly

I have been reading and reading all day and I cannot find anything remotely the same as this problem.

I'm guessing it is not my laptop.

I'm am getting extremly irritated as it was no probelm to order, ship, and pay for this program, but when I need help I cannot find anybody.
I purchased this program directly from Autodesk (so I cannot contact my reseller !!!!)

Please help.

I think I am missing something?
My 30 trial is Autocad 2010.
The program I purchased is Autocad LT 2010 . (They are not the same)
I have sent a e-mail to the Up & Ready Crew: No Response.
I don't know where else I can go for help?

enter the license info into the installed 30 day trial (go to help,
about, product information, update the serial number to the one that you
bought, activate) and your 30 day trial now is permanent.

He trialed FULL and bought LT. License activation will not work. (If it does then I'm on that bandwagon!)
Something is glitching the LT and the answer has not been offered here yet. He should be able to get assistance from Autodesk.

I have tried this. My 30 day trial is Autocad. It tells me it is invalid.

The program I bought is Autocad LT.

Got it! Didn't see that fact till after the fact. How did he receive his
purchased version... as a download or as a disk? If as a download, he
may have a bad download. Autodesk doesn't seem to get the fact that L?T
users usually don't have a reseller unless they have full acad as well
as LT.

Up&Ready are there, sit tight, they do not work 24hours.

Or pay per incident if this is critical and talk to a live body and be done:
you've wasted more than $65 so far with this item.

Nothing anyone here can add if you followed the detailed uninstalls everyone
is suggesting using REVO's registry cleaning uninstall option, and per
Autodesk's guidelines you've killed all apps running in the background
before installation.

The OP's problem is DYNMODE being on: nothing to do with any downloaded LT
versions.

It's a system issue requiring a system review.

Pay for support: cheaper than buying a full AutoCAD license.

So I purchased LT for full price $1200 brand new, and now I should pay another $65 to get it to run?!?!?!?!?

Does this make sense to anyone????????

So for example when a person purchsaes a new car, it's not surprising if he has to book it in for repairs and pay for them before he ever drives it???

I am e-mailing back + forth with Autodesk, (once every 4 hours) Tim Huff is who I am speaking with. And they can't get by the fact that it is not a laptop issuee.(once again, the trial version worked)/
Does anyone on this site have an inside track to how i can get some help SOON? (and not pay for it)
Everytime I e-mail back an answer to Autodesk another day goes by and still nothing is resolved.

I'm going to ask you to run thru the uninstall again and go so far as to restore Windows to back in November prior to the 30 day trial and then try the reload.
I unloaded the 30 day trial of LT 2010 sometime back using REVO and it grabbed my existing LT 2008 files and mucked with it. Doing a restore cleaned up the system and then I just did an uninstall of the LT 2010 thru Windows. There are still LT 2010 registry entries that I would like to clean up but Autodesk sees fit to have me keep those so that my LT 2008 will work.
There's a hosed 2010 entry and possibly LT 2010 etries in the registry that are not playing nice. If you cannot find the DYNMODE combination that you need then the final step would be to format your hardrive and start over.

We've been having the same problem at my office. We have brand new machines running Windows 7, 64-bit, 4GB RAM, and tons of hard drive space. When dynamic input is on, things are very choppy. With it off, most operations are smooth, save for selecting objects with the properties manager open as a sidebar (this is a little choppy, depending on how many properties an object has). I would love to know how to remedy this situation.
