What is the procedure to determine "section properties" of a drawings. For example I ahve designed an aluminium profile and I want to determine its Moment of Inertia and other properties. The figures produced by the Mass Properties list do not seem to make sense. If I import the drawing as a DXF into a structural design program and use it to determine Moment of Inertia they are totally different ? Has somone used AcadLT to determine section properties ? is there a simple programe that achieves this ?
