Upgrade Question

My current version of acadlt98 is an upgrade from acadlt95. Can I upgrade it to acadlt2002? Also, The only way I can reinstall my acadlt98 is to keep a copy of acadlt95.exe somewhere on my system. Will something similar be required for 2002? You know, they tell you to distroy your old software? If you do, you can't reinstall your upgrade if you have to format or replace your hard drive!

Jimbir,

LT2002 does not require that you have any previous version of LT
installed on your system in order for it to be installed. However you
will need you serial number from your LT98 when you do your product
activation.

Soon Autocad LT 98 will no longer be a valid upgrade product for LT
2002 (Sometime in January). You will want to purchase your LT2002 real
soon. Also there is going to be a price increase in January, another
good reason to purchase now.

Hope this helps.

You need to upgrade before January 15, 2002, if you want the
upgrade discount. After that date, you will have to pay full
price for LT2002.
