Unable to view MS objects through viewport in PS

When I create a viewport in paper space, I cannot see any of the lines, circles, etc that I created in model space.  But, I can see the PDF that I imported into model space.  Any thoughts?  Is there some setting that I need to change somewhere?  What am I missing here?

A viewport can have frozen layers separate from modelspace: could that be it?
Or your viewport is looking at a part of your model that has no lines in it.
Or your PDF is hiding all the lines underneath it.

This is where it helps if you post the DWG file in question for further assistance if it's none of the above.

Thanks for you input.  I appreciate it.

I ended up bringing a dwg template that I use at my place of employment to see if it would work on this AutoCAD LT that I have at home.  It did.  I can see the model space images just fine with that template.  So, it must be in my settings.  I haven't looked yet, but I will bet it is a frozen layer.

I use AutoCAD (full version) at work.  All of our templates at work were pre-setup prior to my working there, so I wasn't entirely sure what settings were default or not.  This AutoCAD LT 2015 that I am using is something that I just loaded on my home PC for a side job that I started.  Still trying to figure out how to set it all up.

Hi scott7118,

Were you able to determine if a frozen layer was indeed the issue? If not, as Dean suggested, please post your drawing so we can continue troubleshooting the display issues.

Thanks 🙂
