Trouble Accessing Sheet Sets

I am using AutoCAD LT 2014 on a Windows 7 OS and working off of a server to set up up sheet sets. The majority of the time I am unable to access the sheet set manager. Is there some command that needs to be toggled or is there some kind of access permission that I am unaware of?

What do you mean exactly by you are "unable to access the ssm"?

Do you mean....

The ssm palette will not open?
The DST file will not open?
The DST file opens but it's in read only mode (if this, see this link for an explanation of the various lock icons)

The SheetSet is not accessible (locked) and all sheets are read only.

I think I found the solution. The settings on the windows folders must be changed from read only on both the server and the remote computer.

Thanks for the response.

Actually, the problem persisted and I have discovered that it had more to do with the Norton software we were running on our server. Since the permissions have been changed in Norton everything is running smoother.
