This should be an easy question. My layer toolbar that was on top of my autocad window with the pulldown layer box, layerset, etc. somehow got deleted on accident & now I cannot locate it to put it back up. Please tell me how to get it back up since I'm going crazy without it! Thanks, Wilsonta

Pick the VIEW pulldown menu and select TOOLBARS. Put a check mark in the
"Object Properties" box. Hit OK.

If "Object Properties" isn't listed, you may have to re-load your
ACLT.MNU file. This will bring back all toolbars.

CAUTION: If you have any customized toolbars and you load the ACLT.MNU
file, all of your customized toolbars will be overwritten.

You re-load the .mnu file by typing the command "Menuload" and enter.
The "Menu Customization" dialog box will come up. Pick the "Replace All"
box. Pick the BROWSE button. The "Select Menu File" dialog box will pop
up. Change the "Files of Type" from "Menu Files (*.mnc,*.mns)" to "Menu
Template (*.mnu)" then select the ACLT.MNU file and then the OPEN
button. This will take you back to the "Menu Customization" dialog box.
Pick the LOAD button to actually load the menu. Pick the CLOSE button to
exit.

And if it's listed in the Toolbars list and checked but still not visible
then
it's propably off screen. Look under the Task manager window (Start button
area).
You can also increase your desktop size, to see if the missing tool bar
hides
in the upper right area of the desktop.

Here is another process for relocating toolbars that have been pushed
off the screen.

1. Enter -TOOLBAR at the command prompt. Be sure to include the dash.

2. Enter the name of the missing toolbar. (The toolbar names are
displayed in the pop up menu
after right-clicking any toolbar on the screen.) Note: If a toolbar name
is more than one word, use the underline character in place of a space
between the words. For example, for the Standard Toolbar, enter
standard_toolbar.

3. Enter F for float when prompted how to view the toolbar.

4. Press ENTER to select the default value for coordinates (0,0).

5. Press ENTER to select the default value for rows (1).

The toolbar should now display in the upper-left corner of the screen.

Note: The coordinates you enter for the toolbar are screen coordinates,
not drawing coordinates.
