TEXT2MTEXT

Hi

I have just found out that LT is not capable of doing the text2mtext change.  Oh Misery

Does  any one know of a short-cut?

Andrew

Nope. Create a new MText object, then copy and paste the contents of your DText objects into it one by one...

AutoCAD LT 2013: Is there still not a macro or something that could be created or added or appendex in some way to allow the Text to be converted to MText?

How come that Autodesk has been ignoring this, in these times of AutoCAd LT 2013?

It's still an Express Tool, and LT cannot load Express Tools.

Has this ever been resolved by Autodesk???  Its a comand thats used quite often.  Can the express tools not be reconfigured to be loaded into LT???

The command is not available in LT. There is no new news concerning the feature.

You cannot run Express Tools in LT.

ok.. thanks.  Really to bad tho, it was/is a useful command as are most of the Express Tools.  I'll just have to adapt to doing this differently Smiley Sad

I agree completely: but they don't ask me about it much either 😞
