Temporary Dimension

Hello,

Before upgrading to AutoCAD LT 2014, I was able to select a grip on a line or a an object & the dimensions would temporarily pop up without me having to type in a command or using the measuring tool. Now when I do the same thing it offers me: Stretch/Lengthen or nothing. I have been trying to find a way to do get back the time-saving measuring feature.

Help please! Thanks.

Try pressing the F12 key and see if thats what you want.

Turn on DYNMODE or click on the DYN icon at the bottom of the AutoCAD/LT2014 program window.

Thanks, but I don't see a change.

I don't see the icon you are speaking of.

When I type in DYNMODE it asks me to set a new value.

Is your DYNMODE SET TO 3?

Thank you, sthompson1021 & pendean!

It has been a horrible 50+ hours without this feature.

Fome some reason the DYNMODE was set to -1.

Problem solved. Smooth sailing from now on :). L
