scale not quite right when printed out

Hi

I am having a problem with my scale when printed out. For Example

i set the scale of the layout to 1:1

The page set up manager is set to a4 210 * 297mm

The scale is set to 1mm = 1 unit

i draw a 100mm line and print it

when i measure the line 97.5mm on the paper.

It is always wrong when i use other scales 1:5 etc.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Nick

Nick,

It sounds like your issue is with your printer setup. Are you printing to pdf first? If so check that you don't have it as "fit to page" or some such thing. There are a few other similar types of check boxes to look at. Bottom line though is that your issue is with your printer.
