Rotate all dimension alignments

I have a drawing where it was dimensioned with horizontal alignment.  The problem is that the viewport in the layout is rotated 90 degrees and I want the dimensions to be plan readable.  I tried rotating the UCS in the model space to align with the layout, but the dimension numbers did not rotate after I tried to update them.  I only have 20 and can redo them quick enough, but it seems like there ought be an easier way.

Can you rotate the text with the properties pallette? Under the text section about 13 items down is a text rotation option.

Duh!  I was looking right at it, but tried the one right about it about view direction.  I think I need a vacation, but with this economy I will be visiting my backyard.
