Got it guys! TX a million for the help. Thanks to all for taking the hex off the dwg. My computer tried to open 3 times by using LT2004 and couldn't do it-then for some reason on the 4th attempt it (on its own) used our seat of LT2009 and it opened right up. I could have sworn I used both 04 & 09 in trying to open it before. Thanks again!

You need to turn on file extensions in Windows Explorer in order to see and change them from BAK to DWG so you can open the file: they are by default hidden.

Windows Explorer>Tools>Folder Options, look for a list in one of the tabs or areas. Tap Windows Help if needed.
