Proxy Objects

I have several drawings from a contractor. They are in AutoCAD
2000 file format. However when load some of the files, I get a
Proxy Object window that says:

"The last command created proxy objects and proxy entities to
represent original objects and entities whose parent ARX
applications are currently not loaded......
Missing application AecBase.
Total number of proxies 138
Number of objects (no graphics) 138.............

There are several more Aecxxx applications missing.

When I plot the drawings out will all the information be there?
How do I know if something is missing? I do not have the AEC
program.

Thanks to anyone who can answer this.

Andrew.

Find out which product the drawing was created in and then go out to
www.autodesk.com and do a search under downloads for the object enabler
for their product that applies to 2002. Download it and load and it
should stop the error message.
