When I hover over an element they do highlight but no properties are displayed. After double clicking, the properties window displays no objects selected and any changes i.e. line scales have no effect on the element selected . . .

It sounds like your PC had a Windows Registry cleaner run on it: most quality apps will let you restore what got cleaned up, otherwise you will have to repair reinstall LT if the problem persists.

And turn off the Windows Registry Cleaner scheduled on your PC: 90% of users don't need such a tool.

Thank you for your response . . . I'll try to repair/reinstall and then post if that works . .
