problems while opening LT2000

Hallo

If I try to open ACAD LT2000 I get the following message:

Error. ?_acFree@@YIPAX@Z can not be found in ac1st15.dll

The result is that I can't open ACAD LT2000! I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the Programm, but the error-message appears again. I don't no what to do now!

The Error appears first after I've installed MS SP5 and VoloView Express. May it be possible that one of this two insatllations killed my ACAD LT?

I need your help very urgent because I need the Programm for my job!

Best regards Birgit Meiritz

Hi Birgit,

i don't think that the problem is SP5 or VoloView, because i have all
three working perfect.

If you are using Windows NT/2000, you need to be logged in with
Power User or ADMIN privileges to be able to use AutoCAD/LT.

Hi

Thanks to all of you.
The problem is solved!
I found a similar theme at Autodesk Knowledgebase.
It was a corrupt Autodesk Shared File that makes the trubble.
I've deleted all this files as proposed at Knowledgebase
and reinstalled ACAD and.....it works!

Once again thanks for your kind support.
Birgit
